Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children, play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.

This class is designed for parents or caregivers (mom, dad, grandparents, nannies, etc.) to spend time with their child in a preschool setting and to encourage new skills and social relationships with other children. Children do not need to be potty-trained and the parents or the caregiver remain in the classroom with the child. The age range for this class is 18-36 months with a one day a week, 9:15-10:45 schedule.

Offered three days a week with shortened two and a half hour days, this class introduces children to a teacher-student environment independent from a caregiver where they can explore their personalities and interact with other children. Students in this class must be 2 by September 1st, but do not need to be potty-trained.  

Minis is another class for two year olds. These classes have an optional dismissal time of either 11:30 or 1:00. This is a three-day program (TWTH). Children staying until 1:00 bring their lunches. Class size is 10 children with two teachers.  

All children must be 3 years old on or before August 31st. All 3 year old classes have a choice between a three-day (T,W,TH) program or a five-day (M-F) program. All classes have a 1:00 dismissal time and children bring their lunches. Class size is 16 children with two teachers in each section.  

All children must be 4 years old on or before August 31st. These programs are kindergarten readiness programs. These are used to expose the children to all the standards necessary for kindergarten readiness while keeping the child’s developmental abilities in mind. We have two program choices. The classes include a four-day program (T,W,TH,F), and a five-day program (M-F). All 4 year old programs are from 9:00-1:00 and the children bring their lunches. Class size is 14 children with two teachers.  

All children must be 5 years old by December 31st. The class will provide a structured academic day providing learning opportunities so that students may progress into either a 1st grade classroom or a kindergarten classroom. This class utilizes the Super Kids reading program by Rowland Reading Foundation and Singapore Math. Class size is 12 children with a lead teacher and teaching aid.
